Yatra
Yatra means a “journey”. With Share a Smile, this journey would mean a journey of exploring self. This journey would help us to know ourselves better and to relate ourselves to the society surrounding us. This journey will go deep within a person so to explore self. Due to fast paced life, usually we don’t spend time with ourselves but Yatra will provide some ways to people through which they can spend time with themselves so to know them better and will help us to realize the responsibilities towards Society. This project is three step processes which are as stated below:
Virus program is an effort to sensitize people towards different social issues and it’s also a platform where youth can come and share their views, skills and knowledge.It is a platform where we try to excite interesting discussions. Virus program works on the concept of a computer virus. It tries to slow down the fast-paced life in this rat race. 2.Gyan
Gyan Project is an intensive learning project where members and volunteers share there skills and abilities with the kids. In Gyan project we work on english language skills , life skills of goverment school kids. At present Gyan project is working with a goverment school in gandhinagar Jaipur Rajasthan.
We are also developing an sharing center for the kids which will work in the evening. Sharing center is an space where students of different classes and communities are formed into an group and they help each other in doing there homework, solves each other problems, share there dreams and skills with each other. Each group in the sharing center is lead by a volunteer and each group comprises of 10 students.
3. Khoj
The third step in our project yatra is KHOJ. Khoj means “search”. Search for new things, search for oneself, search for the question ‘who am I?’. This project gives a new platform where we can explore the depths within us with the heights of infinite sky of the world.Khoj includes group exposures, action projects, research projects, implementation of creative ideas which will help to breakstereotypes or the hard core shell which is made by us. It will help to bridge the gap in the society. Our target group is 16-25 age group persons as they are the youth group and can contribute maximum to the society.
