I am santa clauss :i am making this chrismas special

"I have a story to tell and if u find the time do go through it. it touched my heart. I am attending a workshop here in Harda, MP. on our was to dinner today we came across a 7 year old girl who was begging for money. we asked her if she ever went to school, and she said she used to but left when her father threw her mother and the children out. She is one of 10 siblings... and most of the older ones either ran away or died. her youngest brother was kidnapped by rag pickers and though her mother went to the police but they didn’t file a report as they found it not important enough. What touched me most about this girl was that she was begging for money to buy milk, not for herself but for a pup she now takes care of. on asking, she brought the pup to us. She had wrapped it in rags to protect it from the cold. i immediately went and bought a packet of milk and some boiled eggs. she refused to eat the egg but tried to feed her piece to the pup. i told her that there was enough milk for her and her pup, but she said she'd rather save it so that she could feed the pup later on as well. that’s when my heart broke. and to top it all she said all this through a big genuine smile. after losing so much is she could have the heart to take care of that pup, then shame on us who can not even think of others because we are too busy or too concerned of ourselves.
This Christmas i am going to reach out to as many of such wonderful angels on earth and gift them something, anything to show that I care."

Taking inspiration from this touching experience Share a Smile thought to make this Christmas special for all those kids to whom we see whenever we cross any Street, Subways, Traffic signals, Big markets, College campuses etc. and for our self, by sharing Smiles around by our small initiatives and contributions.

Dream Bus

The dream bus programme is an interactive experience that enables urban students learns about rural India through hands on experience. The emphasis is on learning by doing and reflecting on the rural experience. The students will get a chance to explore rural community and they will also be doing self exploration. This will be a one day programme in which students will learn about the rural space.  This programme is neither a picnic nor study trip. The programme is designed as an experiential learning module of a day using creative methodologies like music, theatre and behavioural games. The entire tour is designed in the form of a journey where students reflect upon themselves and their roles in society as well as break stereotypes through enriching interactions with different communities.
The focus is on breaking stereotypes through exposure and developing respect for each other’s cultures, traditions, environment and knowledge systems. Participants also learn about the skills and local crafts of the area.
